How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
Ideally, hair should be about ¼ inch long—roughly the length of a grain of rice. This ensures the wax can grip effectively for the smoothest results.
Will waxing hurt?
Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers or more sensitive areas, but it's usually brief. Our experienced estheticians use gentle techniques to keep the process as comfortable as possible.
What should I avoid after waxing?
For 24–48 hours post-wax, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, hot tubs, saunas, intense workouts, and exfoliating the area. These can irritate freshly waxed skin.
Is it okay to wax if I'm using skincare with retinol or acids?
If you’re using retinoids, glycolic acid, or other strong exfoliants, let us know in advance. These can make the skin more prone to lifting during waxing, and we may recommend postponing treatment or adjusting the area.
